Effects of Curcumin, Boswellia, Bromelain, and Quercetin on Inflammation and Chronic Knee Pain in Endurance Runners

Objective: The objective of this study is to determine the effects of Curcumin Longa, Boswellia Serrata, Bromelain, and Quercetin dihydrate on symptoms of knee pain and inflammation in endurance runners.

Study Design: This is a preliminary pre-post clinical trial that will take place at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. It is to assess the feasibility and safety of an herbal supplement for endurance runners who experience chronic knee pain.
