Lynne Shinto, ND, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Obstetrics and Gynecology and Integrative Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Shinto is also adjunct faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine. She earned her naturopathic degree from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA, in 2000 and her Master of Public Health from OHSU in 2006. Her research interests are evaluating the safety and effectiveness of complementary therapies in chronic disorders. She is the principal investigator on two NIH funded studies. Dr. Shinto is the naturopathic provider at the Center for Women’s Health Integrative Medicine Clinic at OHSU.
