Douglas Hanes, PhD

Associate Research Investigator

Dr. Hanes is an Associate Research Investigator in the Helfgott Research Institute. He believes that research should serve the advancement of knowledge and the improvement of human existence. Dr. Hanes received a PhD in mathematics from the University of Michigan in 1999. He trained in higher education and mathematics at Michigan and the University of Minnesota, and in neuroscience and sensory disorders as an NIH postdoc at the Legacy Clinical Research Center. His research interests include data analytic techniques, research study design, environmental influences on health, and neuroscience.
